The Poinsettia is well-known for its bright clear red leaves and recognised for its wide usage in Christmas floral displays. Joel Roberts Poinsett, the first United States Minister to Mexico, gave the plant its common English name Poinsett when he introduced the Poinsett into the U.S. in 1825. Enjoy! I enjoy the radial symmetry, yellow center and white petals with a hue of pink at the ends of this flower. The flower is tiny and grows in large numbers in a bush, as seen in the picture below. Enjoy!
